Privacy Policy

Trade Studio is local-first: the app runs on your computer and your brokerage API keys and trading data stay on your machine. We can only see the limited data described below, and only when you buy or renew a subscription.

What stays on your device (we never receive it)

• Your Alpaca API keys and secrets.
• Your account configuration, trade history, logs, and license key — all stored under %APPDATA%\TradeStudio on your machine.

What we process — only if you buy a live subscription

Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. Through Stripe we process:

• your email address (to deliver and renew your license key, and for receipts);
• subscription status and billing metadata (tier, renewal dates);
• whatever Stripe collects to process the payment and meet tax/anti-fraud rules.

We use this only to provide the subscription, deliver license keys, handle tax, and support you. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)): performance of the contract, and compliance with our legal obligations (e.g. tax).

Processors

• Stripe (payments) — see Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare (the licensing/payment endpoint) — processes the request that issues your key.
• Resend (optional) — only if license keys are emailed to you.

These providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Retention

Billing and tax records are kept as long as legally required (in Germany, up to 10 years for invoices). Other personal data is deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights (GDPR)

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. Contact moorejasper060@gmail.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority (in Germany, your state Data Protection Authority).

No tracking in the app

The desktop app does not phone home during normal use; after you activate a key it verifies it offline. The marketing website's analytics, if any, are described on the site.
