Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

EU/German 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase and get a refund — unless you have expressly agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that doing so forfeits that right. German law (BGB § 356(5)) requires this consent to be express.

Because a live subscription unlocks your license key immediately, we ask for that consent at checkout, with an unticked checkbox:

☐ I want access to my Trade Studio live license immediately, and I understand that by starting the subscription now I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal once access is provided.

We record that you ticked it, with a timestamp, against your order.

Our refund policy

Paper mode is free — nothing to refund.
If the withdrawal right has not been waived and you are within 14 days, you get a full refund.
After a valid waiver and immediate access, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where mandatory law says otherwise or at our discretion (e.g. a clear product fault you reported promptly).
Statutory warranty rights for defective digital products are unaffected.

Cancellation

Cancel any time from the Manage subscription link (Stripe billing portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; your license keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then live mode locks and paper mode stays free. No partial refunds for the remainder of a paid period unless required by law.
